This research analyzes the presence in the written sources of Antiquity of the kingdom of Tartessos and the king Argantônio. In this way, we will seek, based on the works of Herodotus (History), Strabo, (Geography of Iberia) and Avieno (Ora Maritma), an investigate some questions pertinent to the nature of the kingdom of Tartessos and how these points help us to understand, also, the characteristics of the Iberian Peninsula in the pre-Roman period. The Learning Object that accompanies this research and was developed during the Post-Graduate Program in Iberian History is a digital game called Gods of Time. It tells a story of three archaeologists who have been thrown in various periods of the past by infuriating a deity.
