Researches began to appear in the eighties, and today the spatiality of women in this science must not be neglected. They are reflections of a patriarchal and capitalist society that ignores the socio-spatial roles of women in the countryside and in the city. In rural areas, generally, women do not have the recognition and appreciation of their work, and their socio-spatial roles are restricted to the reproductive sphere of the home, and they end up looking for a different situation in the city. Taking as a case study women who lived at some point in their lives in the countryside and then migrated to the city in the municipality of Muzambinho-MG, this research sought to understand whether their socio-spatial roles and labor relations change from the moment that came to come in urban space. Therefore, we opted for the technique of interviewing women with this profile. The age group found was between 26 and 86 years old, allowing for varied reflections. Thus, in the context of the reality of a small town, permeated by rurality, it was possible to identify that the migration of these women occurred individually and collectively, and in both situations, the motivations were predominantly for better living conditions and work opportunities in the city, which most women ended up finding, although even in the urban space, continued to experience unequal socio-spatial roles, especially because of the positions occupied with lower remuneration, and because of the full responsibility for reproductive work.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/MulherTrabalhoEspaço.Campo; CidadeCIENCIAS HUMANAS::GEOGRAFIADissertaçãoVale, Ana Rute Do
