Electric power and Gross Domestic Product (GDP) are intrinsically connected, and the importance of the National Interconnected System (SIN) for integrating different sources of electricity generation, reducing investment costs, and increasing system security and reliability becomes evident. To achieve this, proper management of water resources, predictive tools, and strategic planning for the development of new hydroelectric power plants are essential.
