Dissertação (Mestrado em Enfermagem) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2023.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/2388This study has the goal of is analysing evidences available in research literature about nursing assistance in Primary Health Care for women victims of intimate partner violence. In order to achieve the proposed aim, an integrative review of literature was performed. First, the research question was elaborated based on the PICO strategy, then it was made a search for primary studies to be included in the integrative review on the databases PubMed, Web of Science, LILACS, CINAHL, Embase and in gray literature using Google Scholar. The included studies consisted of primary studies addressing the nursing assistance in Primary Health Care to women victims of intimate partner violence, published in English, Spanish and Portuguese, in the period from January 2012 to September 2023. After that, a data extraction from the primary studies included was performed making use of a script made by the authors of this research. Next, an evaluation of the level of evidence of each study included and the critic evaluation of these studies were performed. A descriptive analysis and synthesis of the results was produced, followed by the presentation of the review. In the end, ten primary studies were selected as part of this integrative review. In regard to the kind/delimitation of the studies, five of them were qualitative, three were quasi- experimental, one was randomized controlled and one was transversal analytical. The results were presented in three categories: tracking of cases of violence by intimate partner by the Primary Health Care nurse, nursing assistance to women victim of violence by intimate partner in the Primary Health Care and training for the Primary Health Care nurse to identify violence by intimate partner. It is possible to notice that, considering the reviewed evidences, the violence by intimate partner is a public health problem and it needs a holistic and biopsychosocial approach by the Primary Health Care Nurse. Nursing appointments are a privileged space to detect warning signs that indicate possible abuses, besides being an opportunity to be close to victims of violence by intimate partner. Nurses have acquired knowledge about this theme learned through life and work experiences and these must be improved by formal training, using screening tools that could be useful to enable them to track and identify the occurrence of violence by intimate partner. This means that knowledge and abilities related to violence by intimate partner should become a mandatory subject in the curriculum of all nursing schools. It should be emphasized that, in order to identify these situations of violence in the Primary Health Care, cases of violence by intimate partner must necessarily be reported. Nurses are willing to assist with quality and care holistically for these victims, providing a supportive environment, with institutional assistance plus collaboration and interaction between members of the Primary Health Care interdisciplinary team. As a result of the analysis of the studied evidences, it was observed that to offer quality care, it is essential that Primary Health Care nurses receive adequate training and continuing education on intimate partner violence. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen public policies to eradicate the violence against women.application/pdfAcesso AbertoViolência contra a MulherViolência DomésticaViolência por Parceiro ÍntimoAtenção Primária à SaúdeEnfermagemCIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ENFERMAGEMAssistência do enfermeiro na Atenção Primária à Saúde à mulher vítima de violência por parceiro íntimo: revisão integrativaDissertaçãoFreitas, Patrícia Scotini
