We particularly note that the outcome of the preparation of the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), published in 2017, occurred at the dawn of the political and particularly educational experience that we then put on screen. Given this situation, we carried out an analysis of the document that establishes the essential learning of students during Basic Education throughout the country: the BNCC. We investigated precisely whether the official set of guidelines for school practices carried out by the teaching staff, towards children and adolescents, is based on a perspective considered emancipatory, within the contours of the conceptual framework offered by Theodor Adorno's critical theory, due to his concern with the theme of emancipation in the educational sphere.
