I agree that it is up to the Public Administrationto fulfill the duties related to the effective delivery of the fundamental right to a healthy andbalanced environment, directly linked to the right to human dignity, as established by theFederal Constitution of 1988. Furthermore, and taking into account the role of the State As thelargest consumer of goods and services in Brazil, the study is based on sustainable practicesselected by the Environmental Agenda in Public Administration Program(A3P) asanimportant tool to promote reflection on environmental problems in all spheres of PublicAdministration. A descriptive study is presented, based on bibliographic and documentaryresearch with a qualitative data approach aimed at identifying how TJMGobserves theissueof sustainability in its public purchases and acquisitions. Two aspects were analyzed: the issueof sustainability criteria in public bidding notices by the Court between 2021 and 2023 andthe main sustainable indicators according to the reports of the Sustainable Logistics Plansmade available between 2016 and 2022. As a result, the study points out that importantaspects related to sustainable public procurement are still being neglected, such as clarity indefining sustainable criteria in notices and the balance between the lowest price, a parametercommonly practiced as a priority for public procurement. On the other hand, the Court's effortremains evident in seeking to comply with the dictates of the Sustainable Logistics Plans withregard to sustainable practice actions in its procedures and facilities.
