Several advances in compounds characterization techniques and molecular modeling have provided a significant increase of research related to this subject. This work aimed to the synthesis and characterization of new complexes of copper (II), nickel (II) and palladium (II) with the ligands hydroxybenzophenone, and the evaluation of their anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and anti-tumor activities. The first step was the synthesis of complex planning, starting from two synthetic hydroxybenzophenone (ligands), the 2-hydroxybenzophenone and 2,2 '-dihydroxybenzophenone, and three metals, copper (II), nickel (II) and palladium (II). The products of the reactions were characterized by vibrational spectroscopy in the infrared and elemental analysis. The structures of the complexes were determined unambiguously by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Finally, the antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activities of the compounds were tested showing promising results for the complex trans-bis(2,2'- hydroxybenzophenonate-O,O')copper (II), which has potential anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/PaládioCobreNíquelDifração de Raios XQUIMICA::FISICO-QUIMICASíntese, cristaloquímica e atividade biológica de complexos de paládio (II), cobre (II) e níquel (II) com benzofenonas hidroxiladasDissertaçãoDoriguetto, Antônio Carlos
