The questionnaire pre and post-test was applied, the characterization questionnaire of participants and a course evaluation questionnaire. These data were tabulated and analyzed using the SPSS software, version 17.0 for Windows. There was a predominance of females (74.8%) with mean age of 20 years, 91.9% have notebook, 95.6% access the Internet at home, 91.9% use the internet for the study, only 11, 9% had already done some distance course and 32.2% had undergone some discipline by the virtual learning environment of the University. Only 2.2% knew the MOOC tool. After application of the course, participants evaluated as very appropriate the resources used and environmental features such as formatting, access, navigation, images and hypertext. Found highly significant association between the notes of the pre and post-test (p = 0.000000001) 83.0% participants had higher score in the post-test, which shows the effectiveness of the intervention. Comparing note the pre- and post-test by course all showed significant association: 1ºperíodo Nursing (p = 0.0001), 1 Physiotherapy period (p = 0.004), 1ºperíodo of Medicine (p = 0.0001), 3rd Nursing period (p = 0.002), 3ºperíodo Physiotherapy (p = 0.013), 3rd period of Medicine (p = 0.0001) .The best rated feature was the Didactic Material support (74.1%) and the course with the highest average in the pre and post-test was 3ºperíodo of Medicine. The use of MOOC tool in this study was effective allowing a significant learning for the education of home visits, and may be a potential educational tool for teaching and learning.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Visita domiciliarEducaçãoTecnologia EducacionalENFERMAGEM::ENFERMAGEM DE SAUDE PUBLICAAvaliação de Competências de estudantes universitários sobre visita domiciliar utilizando a ferramenta Curso Aberto Massivo OnlineDissertaçãoGoyatá, Sueli Leiko Takamatsu
