Dissertação (Mestrado em História Ibérica) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2021.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/1758The main objective of this work is to reflect on the relationship between Man and Nature in the Iberian Peninsula during the Middle Ages, especially in the Low Middle Ages. During the medieval period, from the 5th to the 15th century, the Christian concept of nature as God's creation prevailed, which was vital for the natural representation of the time. For medieval man, the natural landscape was the essence of God on Earth, and at the same time it represented God's holiness, mystery and perfection. However, the relationship between man and the environment has undergone important changes from the 12th century onwards, a time when what Carlos Barros calls “humanization of Nature” begins. This Spanish historian is the basic reference of this work and the learning object presented here was elaborated from his article La humanización de la naturaleza en la Edad Media. In this article, the historian presents four perspectives on the medieval perception of nature: wonderful nature, dominated nature, hostile nature and friendly nature. These perspectives base the activities proposed on the learning object.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/NaturezaCosmologiaDeusHomemHISTORIA::HISTORIA ANTIGA E MEDIEVALO homem e a natureza na península ibérica na baixa idade médiaDissertaçãoVidotte, Adriana
