Estudo comparativo entre bio-oss®, cerabone® e fibrina rica em plaquetas injetável em defeitos ósseos críticos na calvária de ratos. 2021. 67 f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Ciências Odontológicas) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2021.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/1921Bone reconstructive surgeries have been widely used in oral rehabilitation with the use of implant-supported prostheses. Due to the two surgical moments that occur in autogenous grafts, increasing morbidity, xenogenic biomaterials and platelet concentrates have gained prominence, as they are biocompatible and favor bone formation. The aim of this study was to compare the bone regeneration capacity of Bio-Oss®, Cerabone® and injectable platelet-rich fibrin (i-PRF), creating critical bone defects in the calvaria of 56 male Wistar rats. Two surgical defects were performed per animal and randomly distributed into 7 groups according to the treatment received, each group being composed of 8 animals and 16 surgical defects. Clot (CG) and autogenous bone (OA) were the negative and positive control groups, respectively. The other groups were Bio- Oss® (BO), Cerabone® (CB), homogeneous i-PRF (i-PRF), Bio-Oss® associated with i-PRF (BOPRF) and Cerabone® associated with i-PRF (CBPRF). In each experimental group 8 surgical defects were analyzed after 30 days and 8 were analyzed after 60 days postoperatively. The area of bone neoformation (ABN) was calculated as a percentage of the total area of the original defect (AT). The values obtained were submitted to the F test (ANOVA) and the Tukey test (p < 0.05). The highest means of bone regeneration corresponded to the OA group (37.83%), which was statistically significant (p < 0.001) compared to the other groups and to the CBPRF group (18.79%), which was statistically significant (p < 0.001) compared to the BO (10.20%) and CG (6.96%) groups, but there was no statistical difference with the i-PRF (17.07%), BOPRF (16.86%) and CB ( 16.15%). No other study was found comparing the use of the three materials used in this research at the same time. The results obtained allowed to conclude that the use of Cerabone® and i-PRF presented satisfactory applicability for bone regeneration.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Regeneração ÓsseaMateriais BiocompatíveisFibrina Rica em PlaquetasCIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ODONTOLOGIAEstudo comparativo entre bio-oss®, cerabone® e fibrina rica em plaquetas injetável em defeitos ósseos críticos na calvária de ratosDissertaçãoRibeiro Júnior, Noé Vital
