Dissertação (Mestrado em Educação) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2023.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/2229This work aims to reflect on the high school occupations in São Paulo in 2015, which inaugurated the waves of student occupations in Brazil, which would continue in 2016. The purpose of this research is to understand the social and political impacts that the participation in occupations had on the political formation of the high school students who participated in the movement. As specific goals, we seek to trace the socioeconomic profile of students; analyze the formative processes; identify the motivating emotions for political participation in the construction of claim strategies; to know the motivations for political participation; and understand the paths that participation in this movement of great magnitude provided in their trajectories. As a methodological procedure, bibliographic reviews, audiovisual production analysis, and semi- structured interviews were conducted. The interviews were carried out with seven students from the Fernão Dias schools, in São Paulo, and Diadema, in Greater São Paulo. The choice of the people interviewed was associated with the role they played in school occupation commissions. The political participation of these young people represents many ruptures, especially concerning the imposed social structures. Thus, these subjects take the floor and place themselves as equals before those who establish a social order. The milestone of the secondary occupations movement reveals the strengthening of direct actions, horizontality, affection, and the construction of a new imaginary in search of social transformation.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Ocupações secundaristasFormação PolíticaEmoçõesJuventudeSubjetivação políticaCIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAO“O caos ainda é belo”: Ocupações secundaristas de São Paulo em 2015.DissertaçãoGroppo, Luís Antônio
