The landscape transformation process is burdered by private interests that compromises natural resources and evidences the human arrogance. The systemic approach changed the way of working on issues related to society and nature and, at Geography, it was the geosystemic paradigm that came into force on the way of analyzing space with concerns in this duality. Sochava (1968) and Bertrand (1972) were the forerunners of the term and defined the geosystem as an alternative with a heterogeneous and dynamic character for analyzing the landscape with a systemic and holistic way. The Brazilian geographic literature, mainly with environmental papers, has worked on space from a geosystemic perspective. To provide guidelines for urban development is a function of the Municipal Master Plan, and it must be produced among the support of a complete diagnosis of the abiotic, biotic and cultural characteristics from the current area. Contradictory to this context, Brazilian cities have developed itself without planning and territorial management based on physical environmental scientific knowledge. This situation expresses itself as the disorderly expansion parallel to the emergence of problems related to the biotic, abiotic and cultural characteristics from the currently area.
