The country's rapid urbanization, industrialization and population growth, in addition to climatic conditions and the level of quality of life, change environmental health conditions, which favors the increase in the occurrence of these diseases. To repair the city's ills caused by urbanization, urban planning must be able to provide the population with collective well-being. To this end, the Master Plan is used as a municipal planning tool. This study seeks to understand how the municipal Master Plan can act as a driver of public policies in the municipality to control the occurrence of arboviruses. Conducted in the municipality of Três Corações - MG, this exploratory and descriptive case study carried out an analysis of arbovirus infections in the municipality from 2007 to 2016 and conducted a documentary research in the Municipal Master Plan to find direct and indirect preventive measures and control of these diseases. It also used interviews conducted with Agents to Combat Endemics in the municipality. As a result, there was a large number of cases of Dengue in the years 2014, 2015 and 2016 in the municipality of Três Corações, which allowed the disease to become epidemic in the region during this period. The Municipal Master Plan is incomplete in certain variables analyzed, with regard to municipal planning actions.
