With the cause of COVID-19, which spread across the world very quickly, there was a compromise in the health of the world's population, especially those more comparable. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the nutritional status of cancer patients of both sexes during the first year of COVID-19 in Brazil. The analyzed medical records observed that most of the patients 55% (n=155) were male, 77% (n=220) of white ethnicity, 43% (n=123) married, 49% (n=149) ) had associated comorbidities. During the study period, patients observed a reduction in BMI per consultation (p < 0.0001), being more significant in men (p<0.0001) and among individuals with head and neck cancer (p<0.0001) . With the results found, it was understood that weight loss is expected to be more aggravated among men and amongpatients with head and neck cancer. It was not possible to affirm the direct relationship with the pandemic.application/pdfAcesso EmbargadoCoronavírusNeoplasiaPandemiasEstado nutricional.CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::NUTRICAOEstado nutricional de pacientes com câncer durante o primeiro ano da pandemia da COVID-19DissertaçãoBarra, Roberta Ribeiro Silva
