The BHRG in Minas Gerais is subdivided into 8 Water Management Units (UGHs), each under the coordination of the respective state committees. Thus, the analysis of water grants is highlighted as an essential tool for regulating water use. In this sense, the general objective of this work is to carry out a temporal and quantitative study of the grants issued by the National Water and Basic Sanitation Agency (ANA) in the Minas Gerais part of the Rio Grande hydrographic basin, analyzing the history of the years 2013 to 2022. This Therefore, the relevant information for this work was taken from the database available on the ANA website. The data was subjected to detailed analysis, interpreted and then went through a processing process, in which grants were selected based on the desired period. Finally, graphs and maps were prepared in accordance with the grants issued during the years 2013 to 2022 at BHRG in the state of Minas Gerais. In this work, a total of 2.050 grants were verified during the period from 2013 to 2022, which were in the BHRG covering the state of Minas Gerais. The total flow demand is 34.58 m3.s-1. It is noteworthy that irrigation is the main purpose of water consumption in BHRG's Vertente Mineira, representing 53% of the grants granted and corresponding to 12.56 m3.s-1, of flow.
