These demonstrations took place in schools and became a wave of protests against the decisions made by the government that directly affected the student protesters. Starting from large national research named "Ocupações secundaristas no Brasil em 2015-2016: formação e autoformação das/dos ocupas como sujeitos políticos" (Student's occupations in Brazil in 2015-2016: formation and self-formation of the occupations as political subjects") this dissertation focuses on the analysis of the religious impacts on the students protestors and in their participation in the respective movements. Religion is present in society, shaping the way of thinking and causing tension in education scenery. To understand and analyze these subjectivities of the youth Brazilian student protestors and their political participation, this paper references Jacques Rancière and his political philosophy and classic contemporary debates on the sociology of religion and the sociology of youth. The first results are highlighted in section four and are the final product of eighty surveys performed by national research from which four more new surveys were made and those are explored in section five show the impacts of occupancy movements in the religious belonging context.
