Comparação do perfil associado à virulência e da sensibilidade antifúngica entre amostras de Candida ssp em casos de colonização de ambiente hospitalar e infecção hospitalar/. 2011. 107 f. Dissertação ( Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Farmacêuticas) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2011 .https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/265This study aims to compare the Candida species recovered from sources of infection with ones that are colonizing various sites and surface at the environment, having as criteria the factors associated with virulence. There was a predominance of C.albicans (32%) followed by C. parapsilosis (20%), C. lusitaniae (20%), C. krusei (8%) and C. guilliermondii (4%) at sources of infection. For the colonizing species we observed C. tropicalis (33.4%), C. lusitaniae (21.2%), C. parapsilosis (18.2%), C. albicans (15%), C. famata (6.1%) and C. guilliermondii (6.1%). Regarding the factors associated with virulence β hemolysis was observed at 19.7% of the isolates and α hemolysis at 21.3% and it wasn’t seen hemolytic activity at 70% of the isolates. Among the isolates it was observed susceptibility for amphotericin B at 100% of the ones and at 98.57% for fluconazole. Among C. albicans from sources of infection 100% demonstrated the potential of biofilm formation. The non-albicans species with increased biofilm production were C. krusei (100%), C. parapsilosis (75%), C. tropicalis (75%). In isolates from colonization, 100% of C. albicans developed biofilm and among non-albicans species, predominated C. parapsilosis (80%), C. tropicalis (77.78%). High capacity for biofilm formation and metabolic activity were observed at 35,3% of the isolates. In Candida spp from sources of colonization 33.3% showed intermediate capacity to produce biofilms but with high metabolic activity.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ColonizaçãoInfecção hospitalarCandida albicansCandida não-albicansVirulênciaCIENCIAS BIOLOGICAS::MICROBIOLOGIAComparação do perfil associado à virulência e da sensibilidade antifúngica entre amostras de Candida ssp em casos de colonização de ambiente hospitalar e infecção hospitalar/DissertaçãoDias, Amanda Latercia Tranches
