In such a scenario, attention is focused on the “deconstructions” arising from the Protestant Reformation and the Catholic Reformation and the reflexes that such movements caused within the religious Orders, specifically in the Order of Carmel, which João da Cruz, alongside Teresa de Jesus, were the protagonists in revolutionizing the Carmelite monastic life, by promoting the reform of their Order. However, the post- Tridentine moment will be presented, specifically in Spain, since it occurred with the end of the Council of Trent and is strictly related to the ideals that João da Cruz wanted to live. At the same time, the work in Joao-Crucean prose “Subida do Monte Carmelo” will be analyzed, and it is the interpretation of the poem “Dark Night”, used by the author to explain the means and phases that happen in the process of mystical union of the soul with God. A theoretical reflection was also carried out on recent educational aspects, bringing in relevance some thinkers who prioritize education as a link between society, culture, knowledge and the hope for a better school universe. At the same time, we present the Educational Learning Object, developed by the author himself, through the interactive and free platform “Exe Learning”, which will remain available on the educational tools repository website of the Federal University of Alfenas, coming to serve as support material for students.
