Suárez jugó un papel activo en este período histórico, tanto en España como en Portugal. También plasmó la actitud de dos intelectuales católicos en dos círculos más prestigiosos, tratando de encontrar nuevas bases para la justificación y actualización de las doctrinas clásicas de la Iglesia, así como la cuestión del derecho, la justicia y el poder. Sus tesis tuvieron aplicación práctica ante los cambios políticos de su época. En su artesanía granadina alía la tradición con la modernidad en sus doctrinas. Este trabajo pretende presentar, a través de objetos de aprendizaje, la tesis de Francisco Suárez sobre el origen del poder temporal y en paralelo con el contexto del tiempo.The 16th century was one of the historical periods of greatest economic apogee in Spain and also a time when its intellectuals were among the most important in the Christian world, having been named the golden century. Suárez took an active part in this historical period, both in Spain and Portugal. He also shaped the attitude of Catholic intellectuals from the most prestigious circles, trying to find new bases for the justification and updating of the classic doctrines of the Church, as well as matters of law, justice and power. His theses had practical application aiming political changes of his time. In his works, the Grenadian combines tradition with modernity in his doctrines.
