Dissertação (Mestrado em Ecologia e Tecnologia Ambiental) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2015.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/585Vocal communication is extremely important in a large diversity of animals, once the transferred information can indicates environmental condition or a few characteristics as age, sex and even kinship of the signaller. The advertisement call used by amphibians anurans as specie specific call, may present individual variation on its acoustics properties, which makes both individualization and signaller Hylids: Hypsiboas faber, Hypsiboas bischoffi, Hypsiboas prasinus and Aparasphenodon arapapa recognition possible. The goal of this study was try out the individual segregation and vocal signature hypothesis in the call of four Neotropical. In total we analysed 600 call of H. Faber, 510 of A. arapapa, 91 of H. Bischoffi and 98 of H. prasinus. We extract five spectral and five temporal variables and tested with Principal Components Analysis (PCA), Analysis of Multivariated Variancy (MANOVA) and coefficient of variation among and within individuals. We could sustain the presence of individualization in the parameters analysed in all four species studied. In the other hand, our expectation about vocal signature was not corroborated. This wide individual variation and intrinsic to each individual shows how anurans vocalization presents a plasticity and complexity higher than we thought.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Vocalização animalAnfíbiosComunicação AnimalECOLOGIA::ECOLOGIA DE ECOSSISTEMASEvidências de individualização, mas não de assinatura vocal nos cantos de quatro hilídeos neotropicaisDissertaçãoCunha, Rogério Grassetto Teixeira Da
