Dissertação (Mestrado em Educação) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2019.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/1405Contemporary youths, as well as their ways of be and being in the social universe, have motivated important studies in different areas of the humanities. The sociology of education, the sociology of youth, and other related fields have also focused on other types of education directly converging with youth interrelationships: non-formal education and political formation. As a result of my participation and involvement in research and extension programs focused on the subject, this research has as its theme non-formal educational practices and political formation intrinsic to the student(s) movement(s) and organized collective actions by young students from the campus headquarters of a federal public university in Minas Gerais. The objective is to verify and interpret the non-formal educational processes and the forms of interaction present within the referred movement(s). In addition, know better how young people mean and experience their practices and experiences, as well as their correlation with the formal and institutional processes of the university in question. The analysis is justified by the possibility of reflection on the theories and conceptions that have grounded both educational questions – and that go beyond formal and informal issues – as the arguments that hold certain perspectives on being young in the current context. Through literature review, reflective interviews and participant observation, the lines and paths outlined here reveal that non-formal educational practices and processes of political formation are presented as interactive dimensions that structure and give meaning to the collective and individual actions of the students. The student movements of the institution, like any social movement, are knowledge producers and have a strong educational character. Its heterogeneous character contributes not only to the development of more dialogical, democratic and horizontal educational processes, but also to social and political transformation.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/JuventudeMovimentos EstudantisFormação política.CIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAOJovens de luta: educação não formal e formação política no âmbito do movimento estudantil de uma Universidade Pública Sul-MineiraDissertaçãoGroppo, Luís Antonio
