Dissertação (Mestrado em Química) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2013.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/352This study evaluated the effect of intake of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum by in vivo experiment to examine the mutagenic potential, well as perform preliminary characterization of the aqueous extract of S. sclerotiorum. Through the results of mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance was possible to verify the presence of mannitol and trehalose (205,07; 365,11 and 381,08 m/z). The extract was able to induce damage when was analyzed by micronucleus test (from 243.48 to 439.13 % increase MNPCE) and increase the genotoxic / cytotoxic DXR from (210.26 to 236.75 % increase MNPCE). The comet assay results showed that the extracts didn´t cause harmful effect/protective of DXR activities. The results for oxidative stress showed that DXR didn´t increase the levels of MDA and GSH. From the results it is concluded that the aqueous extract didn´t cause break in DNA, but may have had detrimental effects that was observed by MNPCE by other mechanisms, not associated with DNA fragmentation.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/AscomicetosMutagênicosAnálise químicaDoxorrubicinaQUIMICA::QUIMICA ANALITICAMofo Branco (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum) : estudo dos compostos químicos e da modulação de lesões de DNA e pré-neoplásicas in vivoDissertaçãoAzevedo, Luciana
