Therefore, the using of new water supply sources, such as rainwater harvesting, it presents great potential for application, mainly when seeking to improve the water resources uses or reduce the costs of potable water consumption. This paper aims to evaluate the rainwater harvesting practice in the Poços de Caldas municipality, which enabled to identify the rainwater harvesting potential application to supply residential non-potable uses and development of a sizing rainwater reservoir method, adapting Continuity Equation.
