Dissertação (Mestrado em Química) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2016.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/818This study aimed at obtaining and characterization of new SAB by surveying thermodynamic data from different systems formed by nickel sulfate solution, zinc and / or copper with ionic liquid (IL) tetrafluoroborate 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium ([Bmim] BF4) and water. nine phase diagrams were obtained at temperatures of 283.15, 298.15 and 313.15 K. We evaluated the effect thereof and the nature of the salt influences the liquid-liquid equilibrium of these SAB. For the SAB formed by copper sulfate was observed the precipitation of salt with increasing length of the mooring line. The experimental data of the binodal curves were fitted by equation Merchuk and liquid-liquid equilibrium data were correlated by the equation Othmer-Tobias and Bancroft presenting R2 values higher than 0.9.
