Dissertação (Mestrado em Enfermagem) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2024.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/2822This study aimed to outline the evidence available in the literature regarding the implications of ONA certification in hospital accreditation for nursing care and management. This is an integrative review. The recommendations of the JBI Manual for Evidence Synthesis and the Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMAScR) checklist were used, as well as the PICo strategy to formulate the question: What evidence is available in the literature regarding the implications of ONA certification in Hospital Accreditation for nursing care management? Primary, indexed studies in Portuguese, English, and Spanish were included, with a time frame between 2001 and 2024. The accreditation manuals were limited to the period from 2020 to 2024 so that the contents used are in their updated versions. The information sources used were: PubMed; Web of Science; LILACS; CINAHL, and Embase. The search strategy was adjusted for each source of information, using the main descriptors: Nursing Care, Hospital Accreditation and Hospitals. They were combined using the Boolean operators OR and AND. Pre-selection and selection were performed in the Endnote and Rayyan software, by two blind reviewers and conflicts were reviewed by a third reviewer. Of 1,110 studies identified, 23 studies were selected. Since this was a national Accreditation, the studies with the greatest scope were in the states of Paraná, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Pará and Amazonas. Qualitative studies stood out significantly. Nurses were the professionals who developed the most studies in response to the proposed objective. The study population was made up of professionals from the areas of health, administration and accounting. The main implications identified in the study were: organization of accredited institutions, standardization of nursing care and management processes, and the development of skills and competencies. However, a negative implication related to motivation, stress and overload of the teams involved in the accreditation process was observed. The implementation of ONA standards requires rigorous standardization of processes, which results in greater efficiency and patient safety, promoting the creation of performance and effectiveness indicators, enabling continuous monitoring and improvement of clinical and administrative practices.application/pdfAcesso AbertoImplicações na assistência de enfermagemAcreditação hospitalarHospitaisCIENCIAS DA SAUDE::ENFERMAGEMImplicações da certificação ONA em acreditação hospitalar para a gestão em assistência de enfermagem : revisão integrativaDissertaçãoMartinez, Maria Regina
