Dissertação (Mestrado em Geografia) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas/MG, 2022.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/2010This research intends to analyze the housing issues understood as spaces conceived and lived, of the five residential areas of the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program, range 1, implemented in the municipality of Alfenas-MG, between 2011 and 2020. The Banco Nacional de Habitação, responsible for the expansion and emergence of new peripheral areas, analyzes the aspects of urban society as a process of space production, especially from the 1960s onwards, in the context of industrial deconcentrating and implementation of Housing Complexes. Considering the implementation of different housing policies in the municipality from the constitution of projects and programs, the logic of inserting the most needy families in peripheral and segregated areas is noted. It is from 2011, with the supply of the first Residential of the Minha Casa Minha Vida Program, that the massive production of housing is accentuated, clashing with the urban landscape of consolidated neighborhoods. The five residential units, divided into blocks, totaling 1154 housing units, cross and are crossed by these outskirts in the western and northern areas of the city. Therefore, we seek to relate the conceived space, that is, planned, and the habitat, with the practices of the space lived by the families, observing modes of appropriation and privatization, demonstrating the possibilities as a form of adaptation for social reproduction of families. For that, semi- structured interviews were applied to the residents, seeking to understand the different perceptions about the housing, the conviviality between the residents and the public/private space, the aspects of production and reproduction as a working class. It was observed that in face of the conflicts and dilemmas of housing produced by the State and construction companies, the situation and conditions of the families, on the one hand, provided access to housing to the lower income classes, historically excluded from financing and conditioned to rental housing and family cohabitation; on the other hand, the logic of developments for the low-income strata provided new developments and challenges for families in the face of new housing and urban space. Finally, the possibilities and appropriations for use are noted, especially for women and children, pointing out ways of organization and breaking with the hierarchical logic.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Habitação SocialProdução do EspacoCIENCIAS HUMANAS::GEOGRAFIAO Programa Minha Casa Minha Vida em Alfenas: entre o concebido e o vivido no cotidiano das habitaçõesDissertaçãoBranquinho, Evânio Dos Santos
