Currently the internet and communication tools bring several options for interaction between government and citizen. Therefore, the use of social media by the public administration may be a good practice for the population to know the actions of the government because Social media sites help to connect to people worldwide. Consequently, we have the question: How does prefecture of Varginha use social networks to publicize its administrative acts? To achieve this, was used documentary research with descriptive qualitative approach. The publicity of the administrative acts practiced required by the federal constitution, based on this we discussed about the use of social networks by the municipal public administration. For this, make described the concept of administrative acts, accountability and public transparency. Then writes about social networks and government communication because this is the base of the proposal of the use of social networks by the administration to better the relation between the public management and the population. It was used the methodology of documentary research with qualitative descriptive approach was made first with the observation of the official website of the prefecture, in the session Official Journal. Were identified all official administrative acts from January 2017 to March 2018, second searched in the official fan page, the publications that contained administrative acts published in the official newspaper. It has been revalued that official fan page is used as a public utility service; most of the publications are about street maintenance, event reporting and other. However, can observe the existence of a small connection between the official publication and social network exist 10 publications of official administrative acts in 4,095 publications. To increase these numbers, it suggests the development of software capable of extending the connection between the official newspaper and the fan page. The software must be able to read the administrative acts from official journal and publish on the fan page so that users can access. This paper have how limitation no analyze to citizens opinions about administrative acts.
