Dissertação (Mestrado em Enfermagem) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2018.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/1266The knowledge of epidemiological profile of syphilis bearers and a situation of notification that disease is important for the population, for the health professionals, including the nurses, and for the public politics of health. The notifications/investigations that disease suffer influence for amount, quality, reliability and data inconsistency. The objective that study was evaluated in cases of acquired syphilis reported in a Department of Sexually Transmitted Infections of a Regional Health Superintendent of South of Minas Gerais, Brazil. A descriptive, cross-sectional, quantitative study, in that were included all cases of acquired syphilis reported in referred Regional Health, accompanied of investigation record, in period of January of 2010 to June of 2017. The research was approved for Ethics Committees, Technical advice number 2.197.263. Were used two instruments, elaborated for researchers, for collect the clinical, sociodemographic and laboratory data, beyond of reference record padding, for the criterion: field not filled, padding of field “ignored” and data inconsistency. After the collect, the data was analyzed with the help of Statistical Package for the Social Science and, for the analyses, was used the chi-square test of Pearson and Fisher's exact test, with significance level of 5%. After these analyze, estimated the Odds ratio of evaluated variable, with the interval of confidence 95%. As results, observed bigger frequency of age range of 20 the 35 years; of male; of breed/white color; of schooling high school complete. The bigger frequency of cases keeps sexual relations with men; and has results of non-treponemic test and the treponemic reagent test. In clinical classification, verified that the majority of individuals possessed disease in your tertiary phase. Only the variable sex showed significant association (p=0,000) with the sexual behavior, been that the men showed greater chance of sexual behavior for sexual relations with men and sexual relations with men and women. The majority of the files had some variable without fill, being that the function of the responsible professional by filling was the one with the greatest predominance. Among the files that showed variables with padding of ignored field, were detached the antecedent of syphilis. Of investigation records that had incoherence of data, the test results treponemic/classification final of case was the greater predominance. Was found a greater frequency of nurses that was responsible for record padding, followed by nurse technician. With this, the knowledge of epidemiological profile of disease and the reliability of notification depends of capacity of health professionals, mainly of nurse in notify correctly these injuries of health.application/pdfinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Sistemas de Informação em SaúdeNotificação de DoençasSífilisMonitoramento AmbientalEnfermagemSAUDE COLETIVA::SAUDE PUBLICANotificação da sífilis adquirida em uma superintendência regional de saúde do Sul de Minas Geraisinfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisTerra, Fábio De Souza
