The objective of this work was to identify the uses of land in the Ribeirão do Sapé sub-basin, in the years 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2021, to delimit the permanent preservation areas (APP), springs and watercourses and to analyze conflict areas considering the criteria established by Brazilian legislation law no. 12,651, of May 25, 2012. The classification of land use was carried out in the QGIS software, using Landsat satellite images. After mapping land use, it was found that in 2008 the conflicting area was (33%), 2012 (83%), 2016 (91%) and 2021 (98%).
