Dissertação (Mestrado em Educação) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2019.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/1472Scientific research in the field of sociology and education has increasingly sought answers to questions about the prejudices people who do not conform to social norms suffer in our society, including in the school environment. This research has as theoretical reference the studies of the Australian sociologist Raewyn Connell on Hegemonic Masculinity (CONNELL and MESSERCHMIDT, 2013), aiming to discuss how gender studies plays an important role in the search for a fairer society for people who do not belong to this hegemonic pattern of masculinity, mainly the LGBT population. From the discussion of these studies, this dissertation presents itself as an analysis of the speeches shared on the social network Facebook, on the official page of the “School Without Party" regarding gender and sexuality issues. These interlocutors support the program implementation in order to prevent teachers from discussing certain topics in the classroom and, in the case of this research, the theme in question is what they call “gender ideology”, term not recognized by the scientific community, which originated in the Catholic Church and is now widely used by conservative politicians and various religious leaders to attack researchers involved in gender and sexuality studies and those who are not heterosexual and / or cisgender. Using Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis (2001), this research brings the publications that discuss topics such as gender and sexuality that most resonated on the “School Without Party” page, analyzing its main comments, concluding that this program corroborates and legitimizes the hegemonic pattern of masculinity so valued in our society, that inferiorizes women and men who do not belong to this standard. The whole discussion is also supported by the political discourses of the current national context, showing how much the preposition "without" in the nomenclature of the program makes no sense.application/pdfAcesso Abertohttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/EducaçãoMasculinidadeEscola Sem PartidoEstudo de GêneroCIENCIAS HUMANAS::EDUCACAOAnálise de discurso na rede social: o programa “Escola Sem Partido” e suas contribuições para a legitimação da masculinidade hegemônicaDissertaçãoMariano, André Luiz Sena
