Dissertação (Mestrado em Ensino de Física) - Universidade Federal de Alfenas, Alfenas, MG, 2023.https://repositorio.unifal-mg.edu.br/handle/123456789/2249It is in the school environment that the subject has the possibility of understanding the processes of scientific work, questioning the superiority and immutability status of science and questioning the relationship between Science and Technology. Therefore, it is necessary to develop effective teaching techniques that involve theory with practice experienced by students, as well as being able to promote the development of critical thinking and decision-making skills. With the immersion of young people in the technological environment and the popularization of the use of smartphones, it becomes essential to address this problem in the school environment. Recent research suggests that it is possible to teach Physics using Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDICs), especially applications developed for smartphones. In this process of using the smartphone in the classroom, in learning activities, students can become central and active agents in experimental activities by filming the experiments, obtaining and processing their respective data. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to verify wheter MobTracker is an application for a mobile device that has pedagogical potential as a tool for teaching Physics, if it is capable of motivating students to study the subjects covered with the application, as well as evaluating whether the methodology adopted is suitable for an active teaching methodology. The methodology used consisted of an investigative qualitative research, with evaluation of teaching results through the use of the MobTracker application in a learning situation about Newton's 2nd law. The results pointed to the fact that the use of MobTracker as an active learning methodology fulfills the role of generating learning, engagement and student autonomy, serving as a tool that allows access to alternative conceptions of students to explain phenomena, seeking to gradually add new knowledge to those already consolidated in their cognitive structure, making these new ones have a long and stable permanence in their training.application/pdfinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/Tecnologia educacionalEnsino de físicaSmartphoneCIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::FISICAMobTracker : um aplicativo de captura de dados para o ensino de físicainfo:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesisJunior, Artur Justiniano Roberto
