It analyzes interviews conducted by the national study "Secondary school occupations in Brazil in 2015 and 2016: Formation and self-formation of the occupiers as political subjects", specifically those of nine girls who occupied schools in Minas Gerais, with the aim of understanding the process of political subjectivation experienced by these girls, as well as their ideals, motivations, expectations and their processes of selfconstitution as political and social subjects. As a theoretical foundation, it makes use of studies by Groppo, Butler, among others, to build an understanding of the categories of youth, gender, feminism and gender and political performativity. The methodology is qualitative, consisting of bibliographical research, which looked at products that analyzed aspects related to gender and feminism in the Occupy movement, as well as analysis of the semi-structured interviews described above. To analyze the interviews, with the support of MaxqDa software, the following categories were used: female experience; feminism; political practices and gender relations. Among the results, we highlight the recognition of the importance of feminism in the process of political subjectivation experienced by the young people during the secondary school occupations, which was decisive for their constitution as subjects endowed with rights, power and freedom from subjection. Intersectional feminism had a strong presence in the reflective process and practices implemented by the young people during the Secondary School Spring.
