The method parameters were manipulated to obtain samples having different particle sizes (from 60 nm to 800 nm). Both ZnO pure as doped ZnO with transition metal (TM), which is a diluted magnetic oxides (DMOs) has great potential for applications in spintronics. The dependence of the magnetic properties with the particle size is an important aspect to understand the behavior of the ferromagnetic type of material and it is clarified in this work. The samples with Co were prepared with molar concentrations of 0,5, 1% and 3% of Mn (% in mol). The crystal structures of the samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and RAMAN scattering spectroscopy. The microstructure and composition distributions were characterized by scattering electron microscopy (SEM).
